Our key strength at EWG is in the selection of recruits, the vetting process, training and remuneration of the guards. We emphasis on Certificate of Good Conduct issued by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to ensure that those we employ have no criminal record. We also carry out our internal background checks of all potential candidates to ensure that there are no records of professional or ethical misconduct on any of them before we hire them.
Training of the guards is conducted by qualified and experienced officers in the security field. We have ex-military and police force trainers of discipline and the other necessary areas. Other specialized areas are taught by tutors trained in those disciplines.

It is only upon completion of the training and qualifying that recruits pass out and are deployed to assignments. The morale and effectiveness of our guards is closely observed and includes the early attention to all their issues at all levels of our organization. We ensure that they are well equipped and adequately prepared to perform their duties at all times. This is accomplished through our experienced supervisors largely recruited from disciplined forces.
